Demon Legend is a high-action platforming game set in a post-yokai apocalypse. Control and swap between 4 demon hunters, each with their own movement techiques, and save the world from the Demon incursion. Our gameplay is highly inspired by old classics like Castlevania 3 and Ninja Gaiden, as well as Faxanadu.

Demon Legend will feature a few Metroidvania features without excessive backtracking, and our game design features linear-with-exploration style gameplay: very little, if any, backtracking will ever be required to complete the game. Other features that lean heavily into exploration are secrets and upgrades found in the world itself, rather than from grinding experience points: never be stuck going between two sections to farm!
